Montessori VS Daycare

Montessori Academy delivers a modern Montessori early education and preschool program for children aged 6 months – 6 years in a long day child care format.

At MALC, your child will learn important social skills. Our mixed aged grouping allows older children to serve as role models for younger children. This peer to peer learning is an essential principle of Montessori Philosophy. Education becomes a natural process where teachers can step aside and see children blossom.

At MALC, we believe your child has a natural desire to learn, and that your child’s unique developmental needs should be nurtured and respected.

We provide our students with a prepared learning environment that facilitates hands-on learning discoveries designed to support each child’s sense of belonging, confidence, and independence.

By valuing each child as an individual, that is capable of directing their own learning, we empower our students with a positive and confident approach towards life-long learning

The Benefits of Montessori Education

The Montessori Method has been widely recognised as the leading format for education worldwide. It helps children to learn more effectively than conventional approaches because it is child-centred, self-paced, embraces each child’s unique interests and strengths, values individuality, and empowers students with the knowledge and skills to achieve their full potential through hands-on learning experiences.

Beginning at an early age, Montessori Education assists children in developing a sense of order, social skills, coordination, communication skills, emotional intelligence, concentration and independence. As students progress through the Montessori Education Program, they begin to self-correct, look critically at their work, and establish a love of learning as a foundation for school and life.

“The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, The children are now working as if I did not exist.”

-Maria Montessori
